'Solving Rohingya issue possible thru' UN'

 Nagorik Parishad convenor Mohammad Shamsuddin has believed that Rohingya issue can be solved through the United Nations as it is an international crisis.

Violence have forced thousands of Myanmarise to flee in different countries including Bangladesh. But, Myanmar authority did not come forward to solve the crisis," he said while addressing a human chain rally in front of the National Press Club in the capital on Wednesday.

Instigated by the Buddhist monnks, members of Myanmar army, police and boarder guard police (BGP) have unleashed brutal torture on Muslim minorities in Rakhine state, Shamsuddin alleged.
                  Falling victims to killing, rape, arson attack and eviction Rohingyas had taken shelter to Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the EU, he said adding that Myanmar did not come forward to solve the crisis.

In the name of bilateral solution, Myanmar government is trying to keep away from the UN, he said urging the Bangladesh government not to get into this trap.
